She has a law degree and a post-graduate degree in legal and business sciences from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto). Over the years, she has been completing complementary courses, namely Legal Medicine by the Institute of Legal Medicine of Porto and by registries and notary by the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, among other training in family law, contracts, insolvencies, judicial studies, leasing, and more recently in the regulation of data protection and systemic law.
Lawyer by vocation, she has been working for twenty years in her own office and in partnership with an office in Maputo, Mozambique. Co-founder of VS ADVOGADOS, she participated in the legal reform and judicial organization of UNTAET (United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor) as a member of the UN.
A traveler and a compulsive optimist, he is in love with human nature and with courageous people, all those who freely and fully assume the reins of life and build themselves up to grow on the outside.
Moved by change, she likes to learn, difference and acceptance, finding her place in the world as a facilitator of lives, inspiring, transforming, welcoming, guiding, knowing that the best way to resolve conflicts is to prevent them or avoid them, and that the greatest victory of all is always the one that is gained from within.
This is what it does and what it promotes through advocacy that it wants to prevent rather than solve, because the processes are the people, much more than the roles. He believes that the best decisions are those that do well, that it is better to have peace than to be right, and that happy people live a better life. Therefore, he wants to give back to the world everything he receives because he trusts that words and emotions infect and can transform the lives of others, in the sense that through transformation we can evolve, adapt, learn, change, accept and move forward for an ever better version of ourselves.
